「懺悔清淨已，普賢菩薩復更現前，行、住、坐、臥不離其側，乃至夢中常為說法；此人覺已，得法喜樂。如是晝夜經三七日，然後方得旋陀羅尼；得陀羅尼故，諸佛菩薩所說妙法憶持不失，亦常夢見過去七佛，唯釋迦牟尼佛為其說法，是諸世尊各各稱讚大乘經典。

"After his repentance is purified, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva appears before him again, never leaving his side whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, and even in dreams constantly preaches the Dharma to him; when this person awakens, he attains the bliss of the Dharma. Day and night like this for three weeks (twenty-one days), he then attains the revolving dhāraṇī. Because he attains the dhāraṇī, he retains and does not forget the wondrous Dharma spoken by the Buddhas and bodhisattvas, and he also constantly dreams of the seven Buddhas of the past, with Śākyamuni Buddha alone preaching the Dharma to him; these World-Honoured Ones each praise the Mahāyāna scriptures.
