五眼義略以七門分別。一釋名得名。二辯體性。三修成次第。四五類差別。五見境不同。六約人辯異。七問答分別。

The meaning of the five eyes is distinguished briefly through seven gates: first, explaining the names and their derivation; second, discerning their substantial nature; third, the sequence of cultivation and completion; fourth, differences among the five categories; fifth, differences in the objects seen; sixth, discerning differences with respect to persons; seventh, distinguishing through questions and answers.
