就此品中三門分別。一明品來意。二釋品名。三分文解釋。初明來意者。夫說法既周。道無不利。欲使勸勵新學獎訓未來校量顯勝。所以明此品來。

Within this chapter, there is a threefold analysis: first, explaining the chapter's purpose of inclusion; second, explaining the chapter title; third, dividing the text and commenting on it. First, explaining the purpose of inclusion: now that the preaching of the Dharma is complete, the Way is universally beneficial. Wishing to encourage new learners, guide future generations, and demonstrate superiority through comparison, this chapter is therefore introduced.
