Third, the commentary: the text is divided into two. First, questions and answers distinguishing the Dharma; second, starting from 'when Vimalakīrti and Mañjuśrī spoke this Dharma,' concluding with the benefits of the teaching. Within the former there are also two: first, relying on Fragrance Accumulation to clarify the fruit of the pure land; second, starting from 'when those bodhisattvas heard this,' relying on the praises and requests of the bodhisattvas of All Fragrances to clarify the causes of the pure land. Within the former there are three: first, manifesting the pure land; second, displaying the superior food; third, clarifying the uniqueness of the teaching.
