導眾以寂故稽首　此句歎果。言與眾同遊八正至寂滅涅槃。故敬禮也。肇曰。寂謂無為寂滅之道也。

"He guides the multitude with tranquility; therefore we bow our heads." This line praises the fruit. It means that he traverses the Eightfold Noble Path together with the multitude until reaching quiescent nirvāṇa; therefore they pay homage and bow. Sengzhao says: "'Tranquility' refers to the unconditioned path of quiescent cessation."
