"I bow my head to the Ten Powers, of great vigor; / I bow my head to the one who has already attained fearlessness; / I bow my head to the one who abides in the unshared dharmas; / I bow my head to the Great Teacher of all." The seven lines below praise the mystery of the mind, in three parts: the first two lines praise the virtue of wisdom; these two lines clarify the virtue of eradication; the final three lines clarify the virtue of grace. Wisdom merges with principle; marks, like the mind, are quiescent, and cannot be known by deliberation, nor can his eloquence be definitively spoken of in names and numbers. Speaking of the Ten Powers, fearlessness, and so forth is merely to demonstrate upāya to beings. Wisdom that cannot be bent is the 'powers'; not fearing external challenges is 'fearlessness'; that which the two vehicles do not possess is 'unshared.' Their names and numbers are as elsewhere explained.
