諦聽諦聽善思念之當為汝說 此二明誡許也。諦聽者聞惠也。善思者思惠也。念之者修惠也。
"Listen closely, listen closely, and reflect well on it! I shall explain it for you." This second [section] clarifies the admonition and promise. Listening closely is the wisdom of hearing. Reflecting well is the wisdom of thinking. Reflecting upon it [in practice] is the wisdom of cultivation.
