佛告舍利弗。汝且觀是佛土嚴淨　此二勸觀淨也。生曰。且觀且寄嚴淨以明無穢。於實乃無事淨土矣。

The Buddha said to Śāriputra: "You should observe the majestic purity of this Buddha-land!" This second part encourages him to observe the purity. Daosheng says: "'Observe for now' relies temporarily on majestic purity to make clear the absence of defilement; in reality, there is no phenomenal pure land."
