法不屬因不在緣故　妄法有生故屬因緣。真法無生故不屬因緣。肇曰。前後相生因也。現相助成緣也。諸法要因緣相假。然後成立。若觀法不在緣則法不屬因也。

"'The Dharma does not belong to causes and does not reside in conditions.'" False dharmas have arising, hence they belong to causes and conditions; the true Dharma has no arising, hence it does not belong to causes and conditions. [Seng]zhao said: "Mutual generation before and after is the cause; appearing and assisting to bring about is the condition. Phenomena must rely on causes and conditions before they can be established. If one contemplates that the Dharma does not reside in conditions, then the Dharma does not belong to causes."
