那闍夜毘羅胝子　肇曰。那闍夜字也。毘羅胝其母名也。其人謂道不須求經。生死劫數苦盡自得如轉縷。丸於高山縷盡。自心何假求也。

"'Sañjaya Vairāṭīputra," Sengzhao says: Sañjaya was his given name; Vairāṭī was his mother's name. This person asserted that the path does not require seeking through scriptures; when the kalpas of suffering in birth-and-death are exhausted, one naturally attains it, like rolling a ball of thread down a high mountain: when the thread is exhausted, it naturally stops—why rely on seeking?
