尼揵陀若提子等是汝之師　肇曰。尼揵陀其出家總名也。如佛法出家名沙門。若提母名也。其人謂。罪福苦樂本有定因要當必受。非行道所能斷也。此六師佛未出世時皆道王天竺也。

"'and Nigaṇṭha Nātaputta—are your teachers;" Sengzhao says: Nigaṇṭha was the general name for their renunciants, just as renunciation in the Buddha's dharma is called śramaṇa. Nāta was his mother's name. This person asserted that offenses, blessings, suffering, and pleasure originally have fixed causes and must definitely be experienced, and cannot be severed by practicing the path. Before the Buddha appeared in the world, these six teachers were all masters of the path in India.
