唯優波離。妄想是垢。無妄想是淨　此五分別本性無垢文三。初明妄垢非垢。次明諸法不住。後明內心妄見。此初也。生曰。垢實無也。在妄想中是垢耳。若無妄想垢即淨也。妄想者妄分別之想也。

"O Upāli, deluded conceptualization is defilement; absence of deluded conceptualization is purity." This fifth part discriminates the original nature as being without defilement, having three sections: first, clarifying that defilement through delusion is not real defilement; next, clarifying that all phenomena do not abide; finally, clarifying the deluded seeing of the inner mind. This is the first. Daosheng says: "Defilement actually does not exist; it is defilement only within deluded conceptualization. If there is no deluded conceptualization, defilement is precisely purity. 'Deluded conceptualization' means the thoughts of false discrimination."
