於是維摩詰語諸長者子。汝等於正法中宜共出家　此五形既緣礙勸心出家也。文四。一勸。二辭。三釋勸意。四得意出家。此初勸悟理出家也。

"Thereupon, Vimalakīrti said to the sons of the elders: 'In the right Dharma, you all ought to leave household life together.'" / This is the fifth: since physical form has conditions that obstruct, he encourages mental leaving of household life. The text has four parts: 1. encouragement; 2. declining; 3. explaining the intent of the encouragement; 4. understanding the intent and leaving household life. This is the first, encouraging leaving household life by awakening to the principle.
