即語我言。正士受是萬二千天女可備掃灑　此四魔更施女為亂也。生曰。因其說法故可說以從善。實欲以女亂之矣。

"He then said to me: 'Noble being, accept these twelve thousand heavenly maidens, who may serve to sweep and sprinkle for you.'" This fourth point shows Māra further offering maidens to cause disruption. Daosheng states: Following up on his preaching of the Dharma, he could pretend to follow goodness, but in reality wished to disrupt him with the women.
