天曰。我從十二年來。求女人相了不可得。當何所轉　二答文三。一明不轉。二明轉。三明非轉非不轉。初中有四。一明無轉。二反問。三答。四呵彈。此初也。肇曰。止此室來所聞正法未覺女身異於男子。當何所轉。天悟女相。豈十二年而已乎。欲明此室純一等教無有雜聲故齊此為言耳。

The goddess said: "For these twelve years, I have sought the characteristics of a woman and could not find them at all. What should I transform?" (Second, the reply has three parts: 1. clarifying non-transformation; 2. clarifying transformation; 3. clarifying neither transformation nor non-transformation. The first has four parts: 1. clarifying no transformation; 2. counter-question; 3. answer; 4. rebuke. This is the first. [Seng]zhao says: "Since staying in this room, in the true Dharma I have heard, I have never perceived a female body to be different from a male; what should I transform? As for the goddess's awakening to the mark of a woman, could it be only twelve years? Wishing to make clear that this room has a pure, uniform, equal teaching without mixed sounds, she speaks merely up to this limit.")
