示有資生而恒觀無常實無所貪。示有妻妾婇女而常遠離五欲淤泥。現於訥鈍而成就辨才總持無失。示入邪濟而以正濟度諸眾生　七異道。肇曰。津河可渡之處名正濟。嶮誑受名邪濟。佛道名正濟。外道名邪濟也。

"He demonstrates having possessions yet constantly contemplates impermanence, truly having no greed. He demonstrates having wives, concubines, and court ladies, yet ever remains far from the mire of the five desires. He manifests as slow of speech, yet achieves eloquence and unerring dhāraṇī. He demonstrates entering deviant crossings, yet delivers all sentient beings with the correct crossing." Seventh, different paths. Zhao says: "A place where a ford or river can be crossed is called a correct crossing; treacherous and deceptive crossings are called deviant crossings. The Buddha path is called the correct crossing; the tīrthika paths are called deviant crossings."
