有以飯食而作佛事。有以園林臺觀而作佛事　肇曰。眾香園即其事也。園林如極樂林樹說法等。一義云。飯食以舌根通道。園林眼根通道。

"There are those that perform Buddha-activities through food and drink; there are those that perform Buddha-activities through parks, groves, and terraces." / Zhao says: "The park of Sarvagandha is precisely this case. Parks and groves are like the groves and trees preaching the Dharma in Sukhāvatī. Another interpretation says: food and drink open the path through the tongue faculty; parks and groves open the path through the eye faculty."
