有以夢幻影響鏡中像水中月熱時炎如是等喻而作佛事　肇曰。自有不悟正言因喻得解者。

"Some perform the Buddha's work through similes such as a dream, an illusion, a shadow, an echo, an image in a mirror, the moon in water, or a mirage in the heat." Sengzhao says: "There are naturally those who do not awaken through direct words, but gain understanding on account of similes."
