2.418

捨諸所有具一切智想見毀戒人起救護想諸波羅蜜為父母想。道品之法為眷屬想　必因此施成就善根至一切智。又不嫌毀戒。但念悲救想波羅蜜能生法身。助成菩提莫過道品。此等是大士之想念也。

"Renouncing all possessions with the thought of perfecting sarvajñā; seeing those who break the precepts with the thought of rescue and protection; regarding the pāramitās with the thought of parents; and regarding the bodhipakṣa dharmas with the thought of family and kin." One must rely on this giving to accomplish roots of goodness and attain sarvajñā. Furthermore, one does not despise those who break precepts, but only thinks of compassionately rescuing them; one conceives of the pāramitās as capable of giving birth to the dharmakāya, and nothing assists in bringing bodhi to fruition more than the bodhipakṣa dharmas. These are the thoughts and contemplations of a mahāsattva.
