"All upright mahāsattvas cultivate this Dharma, not exhausting the conditioned and not abiding in the unconditioned. This is called the dharma gate of exhaustible and inexhaustible liberation; you should learn it." This is the fourth part, the general conclusion and exhortation. Zhao says: "Because they do not exhaust the conditioned, they are free from the fault of deficient virtue. Because they do not abide in the unconditioned, they are free from the obstruction of solitary goodness. These two unhindered gates are the essential paths by which bodhisattvas propagate the Way, and the source from which Buddha-activities proceed without limit. He exhorts them to learn it, showing them the inconceivable path of Buddha-activities, so that they will surely ascertain that all Buddhas are not different."
