"Heavenly Emperor, at that time Prince Yuegai saw the purity of the Dharma, heard the Buddha's bestowal of the prophecy, and out of faith left the household life. Cultivating and accumulating wholesome dharmas with diligence, before long he attained the five supernatural powers, mastered the bodhisattva path, and gained dhāraṇī and uninterrupted eloquence." / Ninth is leaving the household life to protect the Dharma, in three parts. This first is leaving the household life and attaining the Way: supernatural powers belong to bodily karma, dhāraṇī to mental karma, and eloquence to verbal karma.
