1.18

"Then, having seen this matter, the practitioner keeps his mind on the Mahāyāna day and night without abandoning it. In his sleep, he dreams of Samantabhadra preaching the Dharma to him, no different from when awake, comforting his heart and saying: 'In what you chanted and upheld, you forgot this phrase; you forgot this verse.' At that time, hearing what Samantabhadra Bodhisattva says, the practitioner deeply understands the meaning and remembers it without forgetting; day after day it is like this, and his mind becomes increasingly sharp.
