經曰若父母在世福樂百年等者　述曰。大慈與樂力也。福樂百年即現在樂。入天花光即後世樂。旦閻浮上壽命極一百年。天內報宮光花影發也。

[When] the sūtra states, 'If the parents are in the world, they will have blessings and joy for a hundred years,' and so forth: The commentary says: This is the power of great loving-kindness to bestow joy. Blessings and joy for a hundred years is present joy; entering the light of heavenly flowers is joy in future lives. In Jambudvīpa, the upper limit of lifespan is a maximum of one hundred years; within the heavens, one's retributive palaces cast the radiance and shadows of flowers.
