"If a monk has an unrelated bhikṣuṇī wash, dye, or card sheep wool, it is a niḥsargika-prāyaścittika." / In this full precept text there are also five clauses: first, the person committing the offense; second, an unrelated nun; third, the wool to be dyed; fourth, having her dye and card it; fifth, determining the offense. The first two clauses are understood. "Wash, dye, or card sheep wool": "carding" means down to dipping it once in water; "dyeing" means down to putting it once into dye broth; "carding" means down to carding a single piece. The remaining meanings are all identical to the precept on washing an old robe; therefore they are not differentiated.
