最勝子菩薩。將釋此論先立三門之義方釋論正文。言三門義者。一歸敬等門。有六行頌分為五門。一歸敬三尊。謂初一頌。二歎說門。謂次一行頌。三讚造論門。謂次兩行頌。四讚論功門。謂次一行頌。五造論意門。謂次一行頌。

When the Bodhisattva Jinaputra was about to comment on this treatise, he first established the meaning of three gateways before explaining the primary text of the treatise. Regarding the meaning of the three gateways: First, the gateway of taking refuge and paying homage, which has six lines of verse divided into five gateways: 1. Taking refuge in and paying homage to the Three Honoured Ones, which refers to the first verse; 2. The gateway of praising the preaching [of the Dharma], which refers to the following one verse; 3. The gateway of praising the composition of the treatise, which refers to the following two verses; 4. The gateway of praising the merits of the treatise, which refers to the following one verse; 5. The gateway of the intention in composing the treatise, which refers to the following one verse.
