First, the main gateway of explaining the Maulī Bhūmi is divided into two: 1. Brief explanation; 2. Extensive explanation. The first passage is divided into five: 1. General inquiry; 2. General answer; 3. Specific question; 4. Brief answer in verse; 5. Listing the names in prose, divided into seventeen, from the Pañcavijñānakāyasaṃprayuktā Bhūmi up to the Nirupadhikā Bhūmi. First, explaining the name and meaning of the Pañcavijñānakāyasaṃprayuktā Bhūmi: the commentary divides it into four: clarifying consciousness; explaining the collection; explaining association; stating the meaning of bhūmi. Second, explaining the name and meaning of the Manobhūmi: the commentary's distinction into eleven gateways should be known from the commentary.
