第九復次明思惟五相分二。一略標引經句。二釋經文分二。一略釋。二廣解分三　一明所治法。二明能治人分二。一標。二釋分三。一明煖品人。二明中品人分二。一明見過患人。二明不念不思人分二。一略釋。二廣解分二。一問。二答。三明上品人分二。一明方便漸次制伏人。二明深生厭怖人　三明安立人因由。

The ninth "furthermore" explains contemplating the five marks, divided into two parts: 1. Briefly indicating and citing the sūtra phrase; 2. Explaining the text of the sūtra, divided into two: (1) Brief explanation, (2) Detailed exposition, divided into three: a. Explaining the dharmas to be remedied; b. Explaining the persons who are remedies, divided into two: [a] Indication, [b] Explanation, divided into three: i. Explaining persons of mild capacity; ii. Explaining persons of middling capacity, divided into two: (i) Explaining persons who see faults, (ii) Explaining persons who neither recall nor ponder, divided into two: i] Brief explanation, ii] Detailed exposition, divided into two: [i] Question, [ii] Answer; iii. Explaining persons of superior capacity, divided into two: (i) Explaining persons who gradually subdue through expedients, (ii) Explaining persons who give rise to deep revulsion and fear; c. Explaining the reasons for establishing the [types of] persons.
