第一明立宗分二。一標。二釋分十。一依攝受。二依自辨。三依輕他。四依他聞。五依覺真。六依成自宗。七依破他。八依伏他。九依摧他。十依悲心立宗。

First, clarifying the establishment of the proposition (pratijñā), divided into two: 1. Identification; 2. Explanation, divided into ten: [i] Based on adherence; [ii] Based on self-expression; [iii] Based on despising others; [iv] Based on hearing from others; [v] Based on awakening to truth; [vi] Based on establishing one's own thesis; [vii] Based on refuting others; [viii] Based on subduing others; [ix] Based on crushing others; [x] Establishing the proposition based on compassion.
