第二十五門有一問答分二　一問分三。一問唯因。二問唯果。三問因果雜事　二答分三。一答唯因事。二答唯果事。三答因果雜事分二。一標。二釋分三。一明因義。二明果義。三明雜義。

The twenty-fifth gate has one question and answer, divided into two: 1. question, divided into three: (1) asking about cause only; (2) asking about fruit only; (3) asking about the mixed matters of cause and fruit; 2. answer, divided into three: (1) answering the matter of cause only; (2) answering the matter of fruit only; (3) answering the mixed matters of cause and fruit, divided into two: a. proposition; b. explanation, divided into three: (a) explaining the meaning of cause; (b) explaining the meaning of fruit; (c) explaining the mixed meaning.
