The thirty-third, the gate explaining the trainee (śaikṣa) and non-trainee (aśaikṣa), has seven questions and answers: first, based on the trainee, divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer; second, based on the non-trainee, divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer; third, based on neither-trainee-nor-non-trainee, divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer; fourth, based on contaminated distinctions, divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer, divided into two: (1) proposition; (2) explanation; fifth, based on the stream-enterer (srotāpanna), divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer, divided into two: (1) answering regarding the stream-enterer; (2) analogizing the once-returner (sakṛdāgāmin); sixth, based on the non-returner (anāgāmin), divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer, divided into two: (1) explaining the desire realm; (2) explaining the upper two realms; seventh, based on the arhat, divided into two: 1. question; 2. answer.
