第一明斷名色等分二　一斷取蘊分二。一明斷現行。二不斷種　二明斷愛慢分二。一斷我慢。二斷慢緣。

Section 1 explains abandoning name, form, and so forth, divided into two: 1. abandoning the clinging-aggregates, divided into two: (1) explaining the abandoning of active manifestations, (2) not abandoning seeds; 2. explaining the abandoning of craving and conceit, divided into two: (1) abandoning the conceit 'I am', (2) abandoning the conditions for conceit.
