1. Explaining the characteristics of the formation of the form realm devas from the third dhyāna downwards has two parts: 1. brief explanation, with two parts: (1) explaining the characteristics of the formation of the receptacle world of the third dhyāna; (2) by analogy, explaining the characteristics of the formation of the receptacle worlds of the second and first dhyānas; 2. detailed explanation, with three parts: (1) explaining the characteristics of the formation of the receptacle world of the third dhyāna, with three parts: a. establishing the cause; b. showing the result; c. explaining the gradual formation of the lower remaining receptacles; (2) explaining the characteristics of the formation of the receptacle world of the second dhyāna; (3) explaining the characteristics of the formation of the receptacle world of the first dhyāna, with two parts: a. brief explanation, with two parts: (a) establishing the cause, (b) showing the result; b. detailed explanation, with two parts: (a) explaining the characteristics of the birth of Mahābrahmā, (b) explaining the characteristics of the birth of the remaining devas, with three parts: i. explaining the initial thought and aspiration, ii. establishing the cause of birth, iii. showing the result.
