Within the eighteen parts, the fifth, explaining the characteristics of the formation of the inner and outer seas, has two parts: 1. explaining the inner seas, with two parts: (1) explaining the substance of the seas; (2) explaining the sentient beings dwelling in them, with two parts: a. explaining nāgas, with four parts: (a) general presentation, (b) listing names, with eight parts as in the treatise, (c) explaining actions, (d) explaining types, with two parts: i. presentation, ii. explanation, with four parts as in the treatise; b. explaining garuḍas; 2. explaining the outer seas.
