分十八中第十四明劫初人住處成立相分八　一明來處分二。一立因。二顯果　二明業差別分二。一明欲界攝相。二明非餘時義　三立名　四明功德　五明住處。六明飲食分五。一明增相。二明減相。三明軌受相。四明好惡色生因。五明食沒因由　七明男女差別因由分五。一立因。二顯果分二如論。三明起惡業。四明他輕相。五明初起屋因由　八明立四姓因由分二。一明王種起由分二。一立因。二顯果。二例明餘三姓興起因由。

Within the eighteen parts, the fourteenth, explaining the characteristics of the formation of the dwelling places of human beings at the beginning of the kalpa, has eight parts: 1. explaining where they came from, with two parts: (1) establishing the cause; (2) showing the result; 2. explaining the distinctions in actions, with two parts: (1) explaining the characteristics subsumed under the desire realm; (2) explaining the meaning of not being at other times; 3. establishing names; 4. explaining qualities; 5. explaining dwelling places; 6. explaining food and drink, with five parts: (1) explaining the characteristics of increase; (2) explaining the characteristics of decrease; (3) explaining the characteristics of regular consumption; (4) explaining the causes for the arising of good and bad complexions; (5) explaining the reasons for the disappearance of food; 7. explaining the causes and reasons for the distinctions between male and female, with five parts: (1) establishing the cause; (2) showing the result, with two parts as in the treatise; (3) explaining the arising of unwholesome karma; (4) explaining the characteristics of contempt from others; (5) explaining the reasons for the first building of houses; 8. explaining the reasons for establishing the four castes, with two parts: (1) explaining the reasons for the arising of the royal lineage, with two parts: a. establishing the cause, b. showing the result; (2) by analogy, explaining the reasons for the arising of the remaining three castes.
