Within the eighteen parts, the seventeenth, explaining the limits of destruction and the formation of the small thousandfold [world] and so forth, has four parts: 1. explaining the characteristics of the simultaneous formation and destruction of the great thousandfold world; 2. distinguishing the characteristics of the three thousandfold world, with two parts: (1) general presentation; (2) individual explanation, with three parts: a. explaining the small thousandfold world, with two parts: (a) presentation, (b) explanation; b. explaining the medium thousandfold world, with two parts: (a) presentation, (b) explanation; c. explaining the great thousandfold world, with two parts: (a) presentation, (b) explanation; 3. general conclusion, with three parts: (1) establishing the correct meaning; (2) establishing a simile; (3) application to phenomena; 4. explaining the lord of transformation.
