一明世間道而趣離欲分三　一總問　二廣答分二。一依欲界明出離相分二。一立因。二顯果。二依初靜慮例餘上地明出離相分二。一立因。二顯果　三總結。

1. Explaining the worldly path that leads to dispassion, divided into three: (1) general question; (2) detailed answer, divided into two: i. explaining the characteristics of departure based on the desire realm, divided into two: [i] establishing the cause, [ii] revealing the result; ii. explaining the characteristics of departure based on the first dhyāna by analogy to the other higher stages, divided into two: [i] establishing the cause, [ii] revealing the result; (3) general conclusion.
