第二依四種慧行分等四法明觀品分四。一依四種慧行作意明修觀品。二依三門六事差別所緣明修觀品。三依勤修不淨等五觀明修觀品。四依黑白二品所攝加行明修觀品。

Part 2, on explaining the category of discernment in terms of the four factors such as the four types of intellectual activity, has four parts: 1. explaining the practice of the category of discernment in terms of the attention of the four types of intellectual activity; 2. explaining the practice of the category of discernment in terms of the differentiated objective supports of the three gates and six objects; 3. explaining the practice of the category of discernment in terms of diligently cultivating the five contemplations such as the foul; 4. explaining the practice of the category of discernment in terms of the preparatory practices subsumed under the black and white factors.
