初門依所食能食二法明略義分三。一總問。二略答。三別釋分二。一明所受食分二。一問。二答分二。一標。二釋。二明能食分二。一問。二答分十如論。

The first section explains the summarized meaning based on the two dharmas of the food eaten and the eater, having three parts: 1. general question; 2. brief answer; 3. separate explanations, which has two parts: (1) explaining the food partaken of, which has two parts: [1] question, [2] answer, which has two parts: <1> stating, <2> explaining; (2) explaining the eater, which has two parts: [1] question, [2] answer, which has ten parts as in the treatise.
