In the seventeen divisions of the third detailed explanation, ninth is clarifying the screening of persons permitted to hear the precepts, divided into four: 1. clarifying the primary meaning, divided into two: (1) clarifying the characteristics of those who have already received them; (2) clarifying the situations where they should not be disclosed; 2. inquiry; 3. answering the reason; 4. demonstrating the fault of slandering the precepts, divided into two: (1) establishing the cause; (2) demonstrating the fruit.
