In the second part, detailed explanations divided into forty-four, the twenty-ninth, on establishing the characteristics of the training rules based on slandering the Bodhisattva Piṭaka, is divided into five: 1. designating the transgressor; 2. showing the characteristics of the fault; 3. explaining the characteristics of the transgression, divided into three: (1) establishing the cause, (2) showing the result, (3) the conclusion; 4. explaining the locus of origin of the cause of transgression, divided into two: (1) establishing the cause of transgression based on oneself, (2) establishing the cause of transgression based on another; 5. explaining the characteristics of non-transgression, divided into four: (1) a general statement, (2) an explanation, (3) explaining the characteristics of non-transgression, (4) establishing the cause of non-transgression.
