Within the third [section], the extensive explanation in seventeen [parts], the fifteenth, explaining the meaning of common repentance, has three parts: 1. general presentation of the meaning of common repentance; 2. citing sūtras to establish an objection; 3. answering the objection to clarify the sūtra's intention, with two parts: (1) general presentation; (2) detailed explanation in two parts: a. explaining the meaning of non-transgression based on sentient beings afflicted by lustful attachment, with three parts: (a) establishing the cause, (b) revealing the fruit, (c) concluding; b. explaining the meaning of having a transgression based on sentient beings afflicted by hatred and jealousy, with three parts: (a) establishing the cause, (b) revealing the fruit, (c) concluding.
