Within the nine divisions of the third [part], the detailed explanation in prose, the second, explaining the four kinds of investigative scrutiny, is divided into four: 1. general statement; 2. inquiry; 3. itemized explanation, divided into four as in the treatise; 4. pointing to the preceding text.
