Within the nine parts of the fourth, detailed explanations, the sixth, explaining all kinds of beneficial action, is divided into three: 1. general question; 2. brief answer; 3. separate explanations, which are divided into two: 1) explaining the six kinds of all-inclusive beneficial action, divided into two: (1) question, (2) answer, divided into six: i. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on proper gathering and gathering in; ii. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on proper taming; iii. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on eliminating anger and affliction; iv. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on causing [them] to enter the noble teaching; v. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on maturation in the three vehicles; vi. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on causing [them] to attain liberation; 2) explaining the seven kinds of all-inclusive beneficial action, divided into two: (1) question, (2) answer, divided into seven: i. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on guarding and nurturing the provisions for the welfare of the higher and lower two vehicles, divided into two: presentation, and explanation divided into two as in the treatise; ii. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on guarding and nurturing the practice of seclusion in the higher and lower two vehicles; iii. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on guarding and nurturing one-pointedness of mind in the higher and lower two vehicles; iv. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on guarding and nurturing the purification of all hindrances in the higher and lower two vehicles; v. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on guarding and nurturing mental engagement in cultivation in the higher and lower two vehicles; vi. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on establishing [them] in the lower vehicle according to their respective spiritual lineages, divided into two: establishing the sentient beings who are transformed, and establishing the activity of the one who transforms; vii. explaining all kinds of beneficial action based on establishing [them] in the unsurpassed vehicle, divided into two: establishing the sentient beings who are transformed, and establishing the activity of the one who transforms.
