Of the seven parts, the seventh, explaining reflecting on establishing the distinctions among neutral phenomena, has two [parts]: 1. General question; 2. Detailed answer, in three parts: (1) Answering the distinct meanings of the four kinds of neutral phenomena, in four parts: [1] Explaining the distinct aspects of maturation, in five parts, as in the treatise; [2] Explaining the distinct aspects of bodily deportment, in four parts, as in the treatise; [3] Explaining the distinct aspects of technical craft, in twelve parts, as in the treatise; [4] Explaining the distinct aspects of transformation, in two parts: a. Enumeration of names, in eight parts, as in the treatise; b. Answering an objection; (2) Answering the distinctions among the three natures, in three parts: [1] Explaining neutral nature based on maturation; [2] Explaining the inclusion of all three natures based on deportment and technical craft; [3] Explaining the two natures based on transformation; (3) Answering the distinction between defilement and purification, in three parts: [1] Establishing defilement and purification based on bodily deportment, in two parts, as in the treatise; [2] Establishing defilement and purification based on technical craft, in two parts, as in the treatise; [3] Establishing defilement and purification based on transformation, in two parts, as in the treatise.
