Within the four divisions, the second, explaining the correct meaning of svabhāva, has two parts: 1. explaining the svabhāva of the thirteen internal dhātus including the eye, having two parts: (1) a general inquiry, (2) a detailed answer, having two parts: a. answering the svabhāva of the eye-dhātu, b. answering the svabhāva of the remaining twelve dhātus by analogy; 2. explaining the svabhāva of the five external dhātus including visible form, having two parts: (1) an inquiry, (2) an answer, having two parts: a. answering the svabhāva of the form-dhātu, b. answering the svabhāva of the remaining four dhātus by analogy.
