分十四中第十四依觀過失明根差別分四。一總問。二略答。三廣立難分四。一略標。二徵問。三答別釋分四如論。四總結。四廣答示過四。一略答。二徵問。三廣破分四。一破堅住德。二破勢力德。三破轉變德。四破可樂德。四總結。

Under the fourteenth division, the fourteenth [section], clarifying the distinctions among the faculties based on observing faults, is divided into four: 1. general question; 2. brief answer; 3. extensively formulating objections, divided into four: (1) brief statement, (2) interrogation, (3) answer with distinct explanations, divided into four as in the treatise, (4) general conclusion; 4. extensive answer demonstrating faults, [divided into] four: (1) brief answer, (2) interrogation, (3) extensive refutation, divided into four: i. refuting the virtue of steadfast abiding, ii. refuting the virtue of potency, iii. refuting the virtue of transformation, iv. refuting the virtue of being agreeable; (4) general conclusion.
