The first [section], explaining the distinction of faculties based on the mutual inclusion between the fourteen kinds of faculties and the three collections of sentient beings, is divided into two: 1. general questioning; and 2. extensive answering, divided into three: (1) answering the correct doctrine, (2) answering the characteristics of non-inclusion, divided into two: a. questioning and b. answering; and (3) answering the meaning of the three collections of sentient beings, divided into two: a. stating and b. explaining.
