分十二中第一明思惟建立一心相義分三。一立生起。二引經證成分二。一標。二立正義分二。一依一心一言說立一心義分三。一標。二釋。三明勝利。二依一淨心立一心義分二。一立因。二顯果　三釋經意趣分二。一依轉所攝相續一心明前經意趣分二。一標。二釋。二依世俗相續道理明後經意趣分二。一立因。二明果。

Within the division into twelve, the first, clarifying the contemplation of establishing the characteristics of a single mind, is divided into three: (1) establishing the arising; (2) citing sutras as proof, divided into two: [a] statement; and [b] establishing the correct meaning, divided into two: <i> based on a single mind and a single verbal expression, establishing the meaning of a single mind, divided into three: statement, explanation, and clarifying the benefits; and <ii> based on a single pure mind, establishing the meaning of a single mind, divided into two: establishing the cause, and revealing the result; and (3) explaining the intended meaning of the sutras, divided into two: [a] based on a single continuous mind subsumed under functioning, clarifying the intended meaning of the former sutra, divided into two: statement, and explanation; and [b] based on the principle of conventional continuity, clarifying the intended meaning of the latter sutra, divided into two: establishing the cause, and clarifying the result.
