Under the three parts of the detailed explanation in prose, the second, explaining in detail the establishment of the ten kinds of distinct meanings of unwholesome dharmas, is divided into three: 1. general statement; 2. listing the names, divided into two as in the treatise; 3. separate explanations, divided into two: (1) establishing the ten kinds of distinct characteristics of the root afflictions; (2) establishing the ten kinds of distinct characteristics of the secondary afflictions. The first text is divided into two: 1. establishing the occasion; 2. explanation, divided into ten as explained below.
