In the seventeen divisions of the third detailed explanation, fourth is clarifying the benefits of conferring the precepts, divided into four: 1. clarifying the benefit that signs naturally manifest in the ten directions, divided into two: (1) stating the cause; (2) explaining the fruit; 2. clarifying the benefit of being remembered by all the noble ones, divided into two: (1) establishing the cause; (2) demonstrating the fruit; 3. clarifying the benefit of empowerment, divided into two: (1) establishing the cause; (2) demonstrating the fruit; 4. general summary.
